June - Farewells in Madrid.
A career shift proposal steered my emotions and helped me make a decision. You can have two lives for as long as you don’t find the second one, I guess.
🏃♂️ TL;DR
Hi hi cuties, sorry I am late this time. Well, nothing to be sorry really, just focused on doing anything else but my routine for the last month. Lovely, as you surely know. June had less trips, but more professional turmoil. June included more time with people I admire, deeper conversations, and less risky activities. Not getting old, just different focus. Turning 27 next month though, fucking hell, gotta watch out for my upcoming wrinkles. Skincare on point. Anywho, lets begin.
🍋 Thoughts

Your daily dose of anxiety ✨
“Results are the frontier in between the madman and the genius” - Fer.
This is not mine and comes directly from a verified source of wisdom, but I will give it a shot debating it.
Genius is an overused word, and I am not longer sure what it means. However, being right does not make you a genius. I believe the fine line in between these two concepts is initially drawn by the concept of uncertainty. Madman’s are normally more capable of tolerating unpredictability because they(we) are confident on the outcome, but mainly, confident on what is truly relevant. This criteria is defined by our own definition of success - rather than the largely accepted money-based definition. I am not saying we are not influenced by it, but we question it directly.
We also accept that success is not a stagnant concept and it changes as we develop. Questioning the meaning of success leads to lots of internal reflection, and fortunately becomes a driver for action.
Then… results may be the line in between madman’s and geniuses, however, this only applies if you are being judged from a societal point of view. When self-evaluating, there is no such thing as crazy people and geniuses.
Can you “figure out” anything, anymore?
We are seeing new solutions everyday, as well as we see new problems pop out all the time. We need to find some sort of consensus in solutions for our brains to be calm, however, at current speeds, can we figure out solutions to anything? By the time you have “figured out” something, it is likely that goals, ideas, people and even the ecosystem has changed. Solutions no longer solve stagnant problems. We need dynamic solutions to constantly mutating problems
Great ideas are forged, not found → You never don’t need new ideas.
I’m unsure bests ideas appear during brainstorming sessions. At most, you can get interesting leads to reflect on. I’m unsure how ideas are defined, since these can be used as a measure of time, effort, or even an abstract concept as creativity. Moving from ideas as tools of measurement, its evaluation its greatly linked to the context you’re living and where you plan to deploy this idea. Great ideas need to be capable of being evaluated both through gut feeling, and tangible metrics. Greatest ideas were born many ideas ago, and iteration is what makes them “great” or “unique” or whatever adjective you need to classify something intrinsically untaggable.
🗳️ What’s going on now
I made up my mind and finally communicated that I am leaving my current job for a new challenge in the future. At the beginning, I was not sure what I wanted to do, but now I am more certain about it. Going full web3 from September onwards lads.
Leaving Byld is a lot of emotional turmoil. Beautiful job, done by amazingly kind and talented people, and led by wonderful individuals. All I have are words of admiration for every single one of them, and I am definitely going to miss them. However, I did come to the realization that I want to experience that feeling of “how the fuck do I do this” again.
Reflecting a lot on the way I am connecting to people sexually lately. One night stands are just 1/10th of the experience, relationship sex is a different game, and striking a balance between being single and having casual, but very cool and profound sexual experiences is hard and requires a lot of communication that I am unsure you can have at that stage of meeting someone (first 1-3 dates). Making the best out of these situation is a fenomenal challenge, but I haven’t hit the sweet spot just yet. This is greatly influenced by this podcast on how one night stands differ from men to women.
I am basically going to have a 2 months summer full of trips and friends → very very excited for what’s to come.
I definitely want to keep being a DJ. It only gets better every time you Dj at a party. Let me know if you need a DJ Wannabe at your party - I charge beers and a kinder bueno.
🥷 Questions in my head
Security normally confronts usability. The safer, the worse UX. This seems to be some sort of a tendency. How do we fix that?
How much unpriced new information is there out there everyday?
Do we need problems to build solutions as innovation methodologies suggest? What problem does Justin Bieber solve?

If you’re frustrated just remember Post Malone’s first tune. Things are going to be fine. Reference just in case you need it.
Your real mentor is the market. We love human references, but the market is going to be the one beating the shit out of you for real. The market doesn’t sugarcoat or give you vague advice. It gives you raw, unfiltered feedback. Ship fast, reflect, learn fast, implement and iterate. It’s about taking an idea, putting it out there, and observing the reaction.

Angry Birds was the 51st game Rovio made. That does not mean they got a brilliant idea out of the blue. Angry birds was born 51 ideas ago.
Fame or money are not strong drivers. You got to love the craft of what you do. You need to find that sweet spot of what the rest believe is work, and you find it a hobby.
A very privileged take: trust where your excitement will take you.
