August - Warming up in Madrid, Mallorca and Lisboa.

🏃‍♂️ TL;DR

As Ine said, not every month has to be the best month of your life. August was calm, stable and fun. Saw many friends, enjoyed summer in Mallorca, rested and got ready for what’s to come. Did not fight wild animals, but confronted many beautiful emotions I hadn’t felt in a while.

🍋 Thoughts

We are all amazing at everything until we get down to the details.
Details are self-made, untransferable, and the border between muggles and wizards. They hold secrets, and they feel like tempting knowledge pills we are all looking to find and digest, but these can only be learnt by doing rather than studying. We are all great at the first 80% of every task, but then the magic of the details settles the fight.

“No one questions either the crazy or those in love”.
Being either of these two is a glitch in social judgement. Somehow, it allows you to justify any sort of behaviour under society’s scrutiny.

Memes are an evolution of language, and a symbol for future cults.
Memes are data compression. You can transmit a message faster than words, or gestures, by using a picture that holds a meaning within a group of people. Chinese pictography allowed them to represent words through drawings until they got to feelings ,and they had to start mixing rational concepts to represent abstract ideas (爱 (love) is the combination of friendship and heart).

Memes are mixing images with a defined meaning within a community, with a set of words, to condense messages that only those within the group can understand. Some sort of religious-like attitude.

Its financialization is just the natural step forward.

Lies are noisy, truth is silent.
The classic rule of poker tells that strong means weak and weak means strong. Whatever you brag is probably what you are lacking. Just remember this ahead of elections, and whenever you hear someone has reached product-market fit

🗳️ What’s going on now

• Generally happy about everything that’s going on now. After two months on holidays, traveling through Thailand, Spain and Portugal, now I am back to starting this new position, fully dedicated to crypto, with everything to be build.

• I am switching from boxing to kickboxing, so now I am back to being a fighting ignorant. This is exciting, so many new combinations to learn, and a new pain unlocked: shins.

• Emotional connections are getting much cooler. Much more deep, interesting and fun. Focusing on this has brought much cooler experiences.

• Famous for a day - Check the cool podcast recorded with my friends Diegui and Iñi on Web3 entrepreneurship. My grandma watched it, so you should too.

• Does what make you comfortable satisfy you too?

• If you’re truly interested in something you don’t ask how to do it. You figure it out. “How do you do it” kind of questions represent lack of real interest.
